Board Meeting 1-15-04

The meeting was called to order at 6:45 PM. Members present were Jack Holter, Ann Dahn, Helen Engle, Linda Marble, Kaci Berry, and Bob Bowlby.

Kaci Berry made a motion to accept the minutes as written from all previous meetings. Ann Dahn seconded it. Motion passed.

There was discussion about the gift bags for Americas’ Classic. Our club has been asked to furnish gift bags to the staff. It would be a total cost of $200 to $300. It was discussed that this would be a way of getting our name out to the public. Our theme could be Easter. We could do such items as shoe polish, mints, and Dollar Store items. Kaci Berry volunteered her house to assemble the bags. All agreed this would be a great idea. Kaci Berry motioned we do the bags. Linda Marble seconded it. Motion passed.

Bob Bowlby stated that Michael Stephens be the Dance Director. Discussion followed concerning pay. It was suggested he be paid $200 per month, however, our Club would have trouble handling this financial responsibility at this point. It was then stated we offer him $125 per month until our membership rises and we can afford to pay more. Linda Marble motioned we offer Michael the $125 per month. Ann Dahn seconded it. The motion passed.

Jack Holter made a motion we appoint Linda Moore as Social Director. Kaci Berry seconded it. Motion passed.

Jack Holter announced the Club was donated a laptop computer.

Ann Dahn motioned the meeting be adjourned. Kaci Berry seconded it. Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 6:58 PM.
